Collection Policy for ANTHROPOLOGY

General Purpose

The Anthropology Collection’s goal is to collect materials to support the instructional and research interests of Iowa State University’s Anthropology program. The focus of the collection is on Cultural Anthropology, but the collected materials can cross over into other related fields of study,such as Medical and Forensic Anthropology, Primatology, and Archaeology. The primary audience for this collection are the faculty, staff, and students of the Anthropology program as well as those departments that encompass American Indian Studies, Latin American Studies, Women's Studies, and Sociology.
