Collection Policy for ENTOMOLOGY

General Purpose

The purpose of the entomology collection is to maintain and develop a research level collection that supports the instructional curriculum, academic subject emphases, and outreach activities of the entomology program at all levels, from undergraduate to doctoral. The emphasis of the library’s entomology collection is on both basic and applied entomology. This includes insect biology topics (ecology, evolution, systematics, physiology, genetics, behavior, etc.), medical entomology, and insect management and pest control.
