Collection Policy for SOCIOLOGY

General Purpose

Sociology is the scientific study of the development, structure, and functioning of human society. The Sociology Collection at Iowa State University Library has broad coverage, including specialized subjects such as Criminal Justice Studies and Rural Sociology as well as general sociological concepts. The goals of the collection are to collect resources covering all of the major concepts related to the instruction and research specialties of the Sociology Department.
