Access to land and resources

Who can access - physically, legally, and ethically - the land and it's natural resources is a long standing environmental justice issue often caused by cultural conflict and exploitation. Example conflicts and injustices involving access to land and natural resources include:

  • Uses: recreation, conservation, production, cultural heritage, hunting, etc.
  • Access barriers: gender, race and ethnicity, costs, "ownership", and distribution.
