ISU Veterinary Medicine Student Pioneers

This guide will highlight some of the early students of color who graduated from Iowa State University's College of Veterinary Medicine and provide resources for further research into these individuals.

Ollie Revels Grantham (DVM 1937)

From St. Paul, MN.

After graduation, Grantham worked for the Federal Bangs Laboratory at the University of Missouri, Columbia, Missouri. In 1941, he became Inspector-in-charge, Meat Inspection Division, U.S. Bureau of Animal Industry, South St. Paul, Minnesota. (Fall 1941 Iowa State Veterinarian)
