This guide describes the various resources that are available to users of the ISU Vet Med Library

Library Study Room 2280A

Room 2280A may be reserved by groups for studying or meetings, however priority is given to accommodation testing (see policy below). The room is available during Library open hours and is monitored by camera 24/7. If the room is not reserved, then it is first come, first served.

Amenities

  • Seats for up to five students around a large table with built-in outlets.
  • Access to a large wall-mounted whiteboard.
  • Solstice monitor for screensharing.

Room Reservation Policy

Use the CVM Room Scheduler to reserve 2280A Library Study Room. Reservations will be approved based on the following policy.

  • Reservations may be made for the current semester only.
  • Reservation requests must be made at least 24-hours prior to the start of the reservation time being requested.
  • Reservations may be made for all hours the library is open, including evenings and weekends.
  • Individuals/groups may reserve the room in blocks of up to two hours for a maximum of four hours reserved per day (max is two 2-hour reservations per day).
  • If the room remains unoccupied fifteen minutes after the start of the reservation, that reservation may be cancelled.
  • Reservations may be cancelled if the room is needed for testing. We will contact you if this occurs and do our best to find a replacement location for your reservation.

Connecting to Solstice Screens

Download the Solstice client to your device. Then when you want to share your screen to a Solstice-enabled display, open the Solstice app, enter the 4-digit code that appears on the monitor, and choose what you want to share.
