Veterinary Medical Library

This guide describes the various resources that are available to users of the ISU Vet Med Library

Monitors on the Quiet Side

Nearly two-dozen monitors are placed at study spaces on the quiet side of the library. Users can connect their device to the monitor via a USB-C cable or, if necessary, they can borrow an adapter from the library service desk. Ultrawide monitors also have a mouse and keyboard that patrons may use. These monitors do not have PCs attached to them; patrons must use their own device with these monitors. Public computers are available elsewhere in the library.

Monitors on the Group Study Side

On the group study side of the library there is one table that has a Solstice-enabled monitor that students can use. The Study Room 2280A also has a Solstice monitor.

Connecting to Solstice Screens

Download the Solstice client to your device. Then when you want to share your screen to a Solstice-enabled display, open the Solstice app, enter the 4-digit code that appears on the monitor, and choose what you want to share.

If you have questions, use the following instructions to connect your PC to the Solstice-enabled monitor.

If you are using an Apple device, follow the instructions for Mac and iOS that appear on the screen.
