The Iowa State University Veterinary Medical Library is dedicated to serving ISU College of Veterinary Medicine (CVM) students, faculty, and staff. The library also welcomes members of the greater ISU community, alumni, and the general public.
The library is open to the CVM community seven days a week while classes are in session. Guests are welcome to visit during limited hours on weekdays.

The Vet Med Library is located in Room 2280, Frederick Douglass Patterson Hall. Due to building access restrictions, guests unaffiliated with the College of Veterinary Medicine must use the public entrance located in the flagpole courtyard. The public entrance is open most weekdays from 8 am until 5 pm. Guests must register at the reception desk and then are directed to the library.
