This guide describes the various resources that are available to users of the ISU Vet Med Library

Quick Search

Quick Search is the primary tool to explore the large collection of books, ebooks, and journal articles that are provided by the ISU Library. After initiating your search, consider using the filters under "Tweak my results" on the right sidebar to narrow down your results.

Location Filters

To locate books and journals that are in the Vet Med Library, use the Location search filters on the right sidebar in Quick Search to select all Veterinary Medical Library locations. This will limit results to print materials located at the Vet Med Library.

To request books from an ISU Library facility, click on the item you want, scroll down the the Get It heading. Use your ISU Net-ID to sign in and then you can Request to have the item placed on hold at the Vet Med Library for you to pick up.

Journals

Looking for a specific journal? You can quickly search the A-Z List of e-Journals to see which titles library subscriptions provide online access to. Look at the detailed information for each title to see which years of the journal are available to ISU Library users.
