Located just inside the entrance, the Vet Med Library Leisure Collection is a place where you can find newly published novels, fantasy, true crime, and other genres that aren't normally found in the Vet Med Library's collection. Browse through the collection and check one out when you need a break from studying.

In addition to the leisure collection in the library, CVM students oversee two lending libraries located at CVM. One is located second floor of Patterson Hall near the parasite/pathology lab and the other is in the LVMC plant corridor.
Parks Library maintains a large leisure reading collection that CVM members can request from. Browse from a list of new titles, click on the item you want to read, and request to have the book delivered to the Vet Med Library. You can even request a book if it is already checked out.

The Ames Public Library is a wonderful resource for leisure reading. You can apply for a library card online and use the library at 515 Douglas Avenue, visit the Bookmobile at various locations around town, or use their large collection of online resources including ebooks and audio books.
