The faculty, staff and student assistants at the Iowa State University Library serve the university community; we help researchers in their scholarly pursuits and facilitate the endeavors of students to ensure their education outcome aligns with the land-grant mission of Iowa State. In order to maximize use of library services and resources and ensure the skills of librarians and staff are fully utilized, said services and resources must be communicated effectively to constituents (in one clear voice), in a comprehensive way, efficiently and strategically.
Iowa State University is a premier land-grant institution and resolved to make education and resources available to all. The library is a valued resource and committed to serve the large and diverse community on the physical campus, online (around the clock), in Iowa, the nation and around the world. The library has an array of programs, events, resources, services, and expert librarians and staff ready to assist students and faculty with research pursuits.
A goal for the library is to effectively communicate and enhance awareness of library programs and services.
We serve Iowa State University, Iowans and through our online presence, scholars around the world. We provide services and resources that our constituents want and need. We present a distinct high-quality image and impart expert knowledge about our services and resources.
