American Astronautical Society (AAS)
Formed in 1954, the American Astronautical Society (AAS) is the premier independent scientific and technical group in the United States exclusively dedicated to the advancement of space science and exploration. They strongly support NASA's Vision for Space Exploration, and are members of the Coalition for Space Exploration and the Space Exploration Alliance. They are also committed to strengthening the global space program through cooperation with international space organizations.

Membership includes individuals working as military space specialists, physicians, lawyers, educators, historians, journalists, artists and other professionals. The AAS has long been recognized for the excellence of its national meetings, symposia and publications as well as for the impact these have had on shaping the U.S. space program. The AAS has materially aided our nation in addressing future challenges by sponsoring professional, scientific and engineering meetings and by maintaining an effective publications program.
American Astronomical Society (AAS)
Established 1899, the society is the major organization of professional astronomers in North America. The basic objective of the AAS is to promote the advancement of astronomy and closely related branches of science. The membership of over 6,500 includes physicists, mathematicians, geologists, engineers and others whose research interests lie within the broad spectrum of subjects now comprising contemporary astronomy.
Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO)
The prime objective of ISRO is to develop space technology and its application to various national tasks. ISRO has established two major space systems, INSAT for communication, television broadcasting and meteorological services, and Indian Remote Sensing Satellites (IRS) system for resources monitoring and management. ISRO has developed two satellite launch vehicles, PSLV and GSLV, to place INSAT and IRS satellites in the required orbits.
The Planetary Society
The world's largest space-interest group, is dedicated to inspiring the public with the adventure and mystery of space exploration. Through projects and publications, the Society plays a leading role in creating innovative coalitions to engage the public and fuel support for exploring other worlds. The Planetary Society, founded in 1980, inspires and involves the world's public in space exploration through advocacy, projects, and education.

Space Frontier Foundation
An organization composed of space activists, scientists and engineers, media and political professionals, entrepreneurs, and citizens from all backgrounds and all nations. Their central goal is the large-scale permanent settlement of space and that everyone will benefit from opening the space frontier.

Space Studies Institute (SSI)
The Institute’s mission is to open the energy and material resources of space for human benefit within our lifetime. SSI’s first commitment is to complete the missing technological links to make possible the productive use of the abundant resources in space. Its second goal is to promote the formation of private, governmental, or multi-national programs to use space resources responsibly and carefully, avoiding environmental damage.
