The Poultry Science Association was created in 1908.
Proceedings of the Annual Meeting were published in two different publications, depending on year.
Starting around 1947, Poultry Science ceased publishing full proceedings and began only publishing Abstracts of Papers. As with many other associations, there was not room in the journal to publish full papers. The association expected authors would submit their papers to a journal for formal publication after the conference. Sometimes it is possible to locate a similar paper by the same author published a year or two after the conference.
