Own Your ISU Experience

Student ownership of their course and email content

A crucial aspect to students owing their own ISU experience is for the University to provided the necessary information for students to export their information to themselves after they leave their journey at Iowa State. Currently on Canvas there is information for how instructors can export their class creations but there is no information available for students for how they can export their work. The University of Pennsylvania has a guide available for their students specifically dedicated to how students can export their course content. The link for the University of Pennsylvania's course content guide will be found in the box below.

In addition to students owning their course curations, students should have access to information of transferring their Iastate emails, dropbox and google drive information to a personal account after their journey ends at ISU. Their curations do not belong to the university. Because of this, a link will be provided below on how to forward gmail emails into another personal account and videos on how to transfer dropbox and google drive information into a computer drive.
