Event details for the 2025 Digital Scholarship Symposium hosted in the Catalyst

9:45-10:30 a.m. | The Catalyst (Parks Library room 199)

Start the morning off with coffee and pastries in The Catalyst.

Panel 1 - Public Digital Arts and Humanities: Community Impact Through Digital Projects

10:30 a.m.-12:00 p.m. | The Catalyst

Experts from around Iowa will discuss creative examples using digital methods to open research to a wider audience.
Faculty, staff, graduate and undergraduate students, and members of the Ames community who are interested in learning more about digital scholarship and connecting with the growing ISU digital scholarship community are encouraged to attend.

Lunch

12:00-1:30 p.m. Rotunda (Library 2nd floor)

Join us for a catered lunch in Parks Library's second floor rotunda.
There will be a brief program during lunch, beginning at 1:00 p.m.

Panel 2 - Digital Pedagogy: Expanding Digital Literacy and Creativity in the Classroom

1:30-3:00 p.m. | The Catalyst

Experts from around Iowa will discuss creative examples of developing digital literacy skills in the classroom. Faculty, staff, graduate and undergraduate students, and members of the Ames community who are interested in learning more about digital scholarship and connecting with the growing ISU digital scholarship community are encouraged to attend.
