This site provides many useful resources, including a directory of state government officials, recent state election results, the text of model state legislation, a legislative discussion forum, issue updates, the text of "State of the State" addresses and links to state government Internet sites.

From NASCIO (National Association of State Chief Information Officers) provides links to the websites of all fifty states by department or function.

Provides information on elections nationwide, composition of House and Senate by state, legislative control of both houses by state, and surveys of various issues by state including term limits, adolescent health, education, energy and fiscal policy.
