This database covers many medical disciplines and is particularly strong in nursing and allied health. It is not as comprehensive as PubMed.

Journals, conference proceedings and report literature in kinesiology; sport law, sports medicine, dance, motor learning, recreation, standardized fitness tests, sports equipment, coaching and sport sociology/psychology, as well as physical education itself.

ERIC contains records and links to education literature and curriculum materials. It includes journal articles, books, conference papers, curriculum guides, dissertations and policy papers in topics ranging from pre-k through adult education, teacher education, counseling, second-language learning, special education, and assessment.

Major archive that makes the older years of scholarly periodicals in the arts, humanities and social sciences available electronically, providing access to the searchable full text.
Access World News This link opens in a new window
This is a collection of more than 12,000 newspapers and other news sources from nearly 200 countries, from 1980 to the present. It provides full-text access to several major national and international newspapers, as well as local and regional titles. Almost 20 different languages are represented. Platform is updated daily making it good source for current events.
