Almost all online books ISU researchers have access can be found by using Quick Search. Look for the "Online access" line at the bottom of the item record in the search results.
You can also use the filters on the right side of the search results screen to display only item records for online books. Select Full Text Online under Availability and Books under Format Type and apply the filters.
You can also access different online collections through some of our vendors. Most of the books on these platforms should appear in Quick Search. Also, it's best that you use a library link as sometimes going directly to publisher's site will not give you the access you expect.
Not all ebook platforms are the same. Some allow full download as a PDF, others only allow chapters, and others may only allow a certain number of pages to be downloaded over a 24-hour period. When there are limits on the number of users or how many pages can be downloaded, it is often easiest to just read it online. Ask your librarian if you have any questions.
The library's collections and services are available to all ISU students, faculty, and staff and Parks Library is open to the public.
