Floor and Tier Maps
The five floors of Parks Library are in the newer part of the building. The seven tiers are part of the original 1925 building. Take the stairs or elevator near the Tech Help Desk on the first floor to get to the tiers.
The five floors house the service desks, public study space, staff offices, classrooms and computer labs, study rooms, and some of the Library's book stacks.
The seven tiers are primarily book stacks you can wander through and explore yourself to find the books and other resources you need. These areas also include some study space around their outside edges.
There are five floors of Parks Library in the modern parts of the building. There are seven tiers (floors) that are part of the old original building, built in 1925. You'll find many places to study, chat, eat, learn, and relax. Look around and find your new favorite study spot!
LOWER LEVEL
Instruction session in the Room 32 Computer Lab - you can use this room, too, when classes are not there!
Located on the Lower Level.
You'll also find the International Nest, Media Center, the Library 160 classroom, book stacks, plenty of study tables and outlets, and more on the Lower Level.
FIRST FLOOR
Studying with friends at collaborative computer stations in the Learning Connections Center located on First Floor.
The first floor is the level you enter on from the main library doors. Here you'll find the Main Desk, the IT Solution Center, lots of public computers in the Lobby and the Learning Connections Center, the Room 134 computer classroom, scanners, and plenty of tables, comfy chairs, and study space, plus the Bookends Café.
THIRD FLOOR
Picture you and a friend here! A cute little study nook, one of many study spaces on Third Floor!
You'll find many study tables and Group Study rooms up on Third Floor, along with lots of book stacks, white boards, and more.
FOURTH FLOOR
Study area, tables with USB charging ports & electrical outlets on Fourth Floor
The Fourth Floor holds lots of comfy study space, outlets, tables, and more. Lots of natural light comes in from the big windows, giving you a beautiful view outdoors, too! Here you'll also find the Library's Special Collections department, filled with rare and unique material, the University Archives, the Preservation Department, and more.
