US Latino/a Studies Research Guide

Selected indexes, e-journals and websites in Latino Studies; in-depth resources

Welcome!

Welcome! This Guide will help you with research in U.S. Latinx Studies! The Guide identifies some of the major research tools for finding articles, plus research materials, resources, and information in libraries and on the web that are relevant to U.S. Latinx research, including some sources for Latin American studies.

Curious about the Latinx spelling? Spanish is a highly gendered language. Rather than struggle with awkward spellings like "Latino/a," gender binary issues and so on, I am choosing Latinx to be inclusive in my own descriptions. When I'm listing specific titles of indexes or resources, the actual name of the resource will of course be used.

Please contact me if you have any questions or need assistance using any of the tools listed here or help finding the information you need!
