Guide to Innovation and Entrepreneurship books in the Iowa State University Library

The Iowa State University Library supports campus Innovation and Entrepreneurship goals with the Innovation Bookshelf.

What will you find here?

The galleries in each tab are a curated list of books, selected by Iowa State librarians and outside subject experts. They represent our opinion of the best books about innovation and entrepreneurship in our collection.

The links and QR codes provide general searches for innovation or entrepreneurship books in each topic area. more than 13,000 titles available in the Library on different aspect of innovation and entrepreneurship, and more than half of them are available as ebooks.

Many are available as ebooks, print titles or both. In this guide there are links to books on popular topics like creativity, social entrepreneurship, and new business startups. It also includes links to materials available by college.

There is also information on how to customize searches to get more targeted results.

 

How to find the books in this guide

Navigate using the tabs on the left. Each topic includes print titles and ebooks, along with searches for additional titles. Signing in to your Library account is necessary to view ebooks.

Print Titles: The print items in this guide that are located in the Fireplace Reading Room have INNOV on the spine. Other print titles in the Library's collections can be found by call number in the stacks. Check the location information in the book's record for details.

Ebooks: Many of the links to ebooks in this guide will connect directly to the text. If there are multiple ebooks for a title, the link will direct you to the catalog record and you can select the version you want. In order to use ebooks you will need to be signed in with your Net-ID and password.
