Welcome

Welcome to our Women's History Month 2022 LibGuide!

This online exhibit presents a section on women's health and wellness, along with a selection of recent books on other topics. Streaming media is also featured, coming from one of the library's streaming video services, Kanopy, as well as Netflix and YouTube, and several podcast platforms.

Inside the Parks Library lobby and Fireplace Reading Room you'll find these and other books on exhibit. Enjoy browsing the books and resources both in the Library and on this online guide!

About WHM: In 1987 after being petitioned by the National Women’s History Project, Congress passed Pub. L. 100-9 which designated the month of March 1987 as “Women’s History Month.” Since 1995, presidents have issued a series of annual proclamations designating the month of March as “Women’s History Month.” These proclamations celebrate the contributions women make to the United States and recognize the specific achievements women have made over the course of American history in a variety of fields.
