FIRST STOP: CORONAVIRUS FACTS

The official name of this disease is coronavirus disease or COVID-19. The official name of the virus that causes it is severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 or  SARS-CoV-2. When searching for information, especially in databases and other library resources, using the official abbreviation for the virus can yield more results pertaining to the virus itself.
