AI tools can help find relevant academic papers, books, and resources, streamlining your literature reviews. AI tools for research offer a different perspective on your research. Here are some examples of AI tools that you may find helpful:

  • Semantic Scholar – uses AI to highlight influential citations and extract key concepts from papers. It also provides citation graphs and allows users to track how a paper has influenced the academic community.

  • Connected Papers – visualizes the relationships between research papers to identify related work and understand the broader academic landscape surrounding a topic.

  • Elicit – helps generate research questions and synthesize literature by pulling key information from studies. It can also extract claims, summarize findings, and generate reports.

  • SciSpace – provides paper summaries and allows interactive Q&A with research papers, making it easier to comprehend complex studies.

  • Consensus –  helps analyze and summarize scientific literature by extracting key insights from multiple studies, helping researchers quickly find evidence-based answers to their questions.

  • ResearchRabbit - uses citation chaining to find relevant literature. Integrates with Zotero citation management tool.
