Article Databases
List of Iowa State journals
- Search the A-Z List of e-Journals
- Lets you know if the library holds a journals
- Access may be electronic and/ or print
- There may be multiple e-journal platforms for a journal
Interlibrary Loan
- The Library has access to thousands of journals, but not everything
- Solution for articles not owned by ISU is Interlibrary Loan
- Articles are delivered as a pdf from another library
- Delivery times as fast as an hour; usually 24-36 hour turnaround
Libkey Nomad
LibKey Nomad is an extension for browsers the provides:
- PDF of the article, if available
- Manuscript version (via Unpaywall), if available
- Pre-filled Interlibrary Loan form, if full text is not available
Installing LibKey Nomad is simple:
- After installation set your institution to Iowa State University
