Library Visitor Card

An ISU Library Visitor Card provides alumni living in Iowa with the ability to:

• check out library materials
• receive scans from portions of library-owned materials
• use Interlibrary Loan.

ISU alumni or ISU Alumni Association members who live in Iowa can apply for an ISU Library Visitor Card. The card is $5 and there is NO annual fee. If the card is lost, a replacement card will cost $20.

To apply for a Visitor Card, you must bring a valid form of photo identification (e.g., driver's license, Non-driver ID card, etc.) to the Main Desk in the Parks Library lobby, in person. This cannot be done from off-campus.

NOTE: This is not an instantaneous process. Applicants will receive their Visitor Cards by mail but will be able to check out some materials the same day they apply for their card.
