Changes to library services due to COVID-19

The library is currently open for normal operating hours! However, some services have changed this year to account for better social distancing and hygiene.

  • Printing should be done using the print release station near the main entrance to the library.
  • Subject librarians are generally working remotely. This is expected to continue into spring 2021. Find your librarian and schedule a virtual consultation.
  • Holds and Recalls have been disabled as not everyone can safely come to campus to return their books. If someone else has a book you want to then the best thing to do is to make an ILL request.
  • ILL (Interlibrary loan) items may take much longer than normal to arrive, and you may receive an ebook instead of a paper book.
  • Material Delivery by mail is available for students, faculty, and staff who cannot visit campus.
  • Pick From Shelf is a new service that allows you to request a book and pick it up at the desk instead of having to find it in the Tiers. This service isn't instant and is only available on weekdays.
