As a Land Grant University, one of Iowa State's most important goals is to share the results of research that is conducted here with the widest possible audience. The ISU Library plays an important role in this.
Repository staff will review your publications and determine which scholarly works can be placed in the repository. They review copyright and work with publishers to get as much of your work into the repository as possible. This means research locked behind journal paywalls may be made publicly available so that it can be discovered by producers and scientists working in industry who don't have access to all the journal subscriptions that we do at Iowa State.
Send a copy of your CV to digirep@iastate.edu to get started today!

The ISU Library has over two dozen agreements that support publishing your research in a journal that is free to read for anyone who has an Internet connection. These open access publishing agreements may provide discounts or completely cover the article processing charges (APCs) that publishers bill authors who want to make their research freely available. Get your research in front of as many eyes as possible by publishing open access.
See the list of open access agreements for more details and to learn which publishers and journals are covered.
The Library's Data Services Unit provides the tools and resources you need to find, manage, share, and preserve research data. Through workshops and consultations, learn about tools to help manage and record research data, get assistance developing data management plans that are required for funding proposals, and properly document and publish your research data so that other scientists can find and reuse it.
