To support open access publishing, the ISU Library has entered into agreements with nearly two dozen publishers. ISU Corresponding Authors are eligible to take advantage of these agreements wherein the Library covers the cost of the open access article processing charge (APC).

How do you choose a reputable journal to submit your research to? It's not always easy, especially if you are new to publishing. Unfortunately, there is no one list of "good" or "bad" journals to point you to. The following links are just possible starting points.
Once you have a few journals under consideration, do a little more research on them. Are they peer-reviewed? Which article databases are they indexed in? In many databases (PubMed, Web of Science, etc.) it is possible to find out if a journal is indexed in their system. Journals generally have to meet certain criteria to be included these databases.
