Sourcing Journal (Direct Access)
This is a subscription journal accessible WITHIN the campus IP range. If a paywall appears on your screen, try closing the window then open it again a second time. Available free subscription to the journal allows access to five articles a month. The journal is an excellent source of news and business intelligence concerning sourcing, international trade, and fashion retail.

Apparel Magazine

A monthly magazine with African-American women as its target audience. Covers fashion, lifestyle and beauty. Some back issues available through the library.
Fashion Magazine

Fashion Studies Journal (FSJ)
A freely available quarterly online journal. Founded in 2012 by students in the MA Fashion Studies program at Parsons School of Design (New York, NY), it began as a platform for graduate-level writing in the emerging field of fashion studies.
Footwear News (FN)
"FN covers business and fashion trends as they relate to the footwear industry. This market is huge and follows business and trade patterns other than cut and sew apparel or knitwear."
GQ
GQ is an international monthly men's magazine based in New York. Since its inception in 1931, the publication has focused mainly on fashion style and culture for men.
InStyle Magazine
A subscription-based monthly women's fashion magazine founded in 1994. It was published in the US by Meredith Corporation and by Pacific Magazines in Australia.
Interview Magazine
Besides other content, this magazine also has great fashion material.
National Retail Federation (NRF)
A helpful site for learning what is happening in the industry you are interested in. Students taking courses such as AMD 275, AESHM 340 and AESHM 474 may find it particularly helpful. Users can sign up for free newsletters sent via email. The newsletters highlight some of the current news about retailing. ISU is an institutional member of the NRF.
Stores
Stores is the magazine of the National Retail Federation and covers trends in the retail industry, including consumer trends, operations, technology, and ecommerce.
