These databases contain predominantly peer-reviewed literature, articles published in scholarly journals across a wide range of topics and disciplines. Databases I have chosen to include here are general databases, which work well for highly interdisciplinary research topics, such as Web of Science: Core Collection and Academic Search Ultimate. However, if you are searching a topic that is more focused on a single discipline, and you are having difficulties finding enough literature using these database, feel free to contact me and I can point you to discipline specific databases (e.g., a database used just for agriculture, or just for sociological topics).
