    Introduction

Zotero is a Add-on or Plug-in for the Firefox browser which serves as a bibliographic management tools.  It is designed to help gather, organize and use bibliographic citations for the creation of scholarly articles, reference lists, or web-based reading lists.  Essentially it is a tool designed to help manage and use bibliographic citations.  besides this application, Zotero also serves as a web capture tool.  This application can be integrated with Microsoft Word to allow for citing articles while writing utilizing another plug-in.

Iowa State University Library supports this software application which is freely available.

The ISU Libraries offer seminars on bibliographic management software.  Please contact H. Stephen McMinn (hsmcminn@lib.iastate.edu) for information.
