Careers in the Biological Sciences - A collection of websites related to careers in biology compiled by the American Institute of Biological Sciences.

Career Voyages - This site is a joint effort between the US Department of Labor and the US Department of Education. The site contains information about careers and includes a large collection of freely accessible short videos on various occupations.

ExploreHealthCareers.org - "ExploreHealthCareers.org is a free, multi-disciplinary, interactive health careers website designed to explain the array of health professions and provide easy access to students seeking information about health careers. This website is a joint initiative involving national foundations, professional associations, health career advisors, educational institutions, and college students."

LifeWorks - This site is hosted by the National Institutes of Health and the Office of Science Education. Contains information about health and medical science careers. Includes interviews.

Occupational Outlook Handbook, 2008-2009

On Being a Scientist - From the National Academies Press. "On Being a Scientist was designed to supplement the informal lessons in ethics provided by research supervisors and mentors. The book describes the ethical foundations of scientific practices and some of the personal and professional issues that researchers encounter in their work."
