This guide provides research resources to assist academic librarians, who choose to do research, in their promotion. This provides support to library faculty members’ in their research component for their tenure, or post-tenure review.

Office for Responsible Research

The Office for Responsible Research (ORR), a unit of the Office of the Vice President for Research and Economic Development (VPR/ED) , provides administrative services and leadership for Iowa State University's research compliance program. The ORR's mission is to assist the VPR/ED in providing a research environment that fosters honesty, integrity, and a sense of community, (text from the Office for Responsible Research).
