Seed Technology and Business Management Graduate Program

Library resources to support the Seed Technology and Business management graduate program.

What you can get as a distance student

  • Print (and interlibrary loan) books delivered to your home
  • electronic books
  • electronic journals
  • print journal articles scanned and emailed to you

Below we will explain and show how to do each of these.

Getting books delivered to your home

First to note, the Parks Library will pay to have our books, or interlibrary loan books, shipped to your home address (assuming you are greater than 25 miles distance from the library). However, you will be responsible for the costs of getting them returned to us.

Send an email to: borrdesk@iastate.edu and in that email tell them that you are a distance student and you would like to have your account setup so that books ship to your home. In that email, include your full name and address so that they can get that setup for you.

NOTE: Your Net-ID is the portion of your ISU email address that appears before the @ symbol, as in: yournetid@iastate.edu

ISU Distance Education students & instructors, please see our Distance Learning guide for more specifics about off-campus services and troubleshooting tips for access problems.
