ANTHR 450: Historical and Theoretical Approaches in Anthropology


Brief Description: This course looks at the history of anthropological theory and asks students to reflect upon anthropology’s unique legacies and potentials as a scientific approach to key problems in contemporary life. In addition, we will discuss the major global processes and ideologies that have provided the context for anthropological research from colonialism to neoliberalism.
